This is a new composition that features the sounds of the park near my home, Glenmere park. The beginning uses a wide variety of bird sounds (the first and main one being my favorite bird in Glenmere, the Red-winged blackbird), and then melts into a 3/4 quasi-Brazilian tune that features odd phrasings. Lots of doublings and a challenge, but a satisfying one! Lots of textures were influenced by two of my favorite composers Maria Schneider and Vince Mendoza.
