Description
Composed by Joseph Haydn
Arranged by Drew Zaremba
Haydn would have been a great collaborator with Count Basie – they both loved humor and melody. This chart brings the two together with Haydn’s famous “Surprise Symphony” orchestrated as a Basie soft (or not so soft) shout. The piano is featured, as well as the ensemble. The YouTube link is the orchestra version. Big Band version is also available!
