A 12/8 Afro Cuban piece that is the opener on my first small group album, now arranged for Big Band! This modified 16-bar blues features the sus13 chord as its staple harmonic base, a modern flavor of an ordinary dominant chord. This makes it wonderful for blowing on. The University of Texas at Arlington jazz band under Tim Iishi does a fantastic job with this arrangement!
