Description
Yankee Doodle
Arranged by Drew Zaremba
Yankee Doodle is a classic American song that many learn in their youth, and now it’s been reformatted as a swing tune. It starts innocent enough, but then launches into a double-time blues that gives lots of time for blowing for the entire band. After settling down into a half-time shuffle and solos, the band plays a short a cappella chorus which winds back up into a fun finish. Hope you enjoy! Included in this is a middle school version that has a much more suitable trumpet range.
